Terms of Service

The service

Nucel is a personal knowledge base: you save content you have legitimate access to, and the service organizes, summarizes, and makes it searchable for your personal use. Ingestion is entirely user-initiated (share sheet, browser extension, archive import, webhook), so the service does not crawl or scrape platforms on your behalf.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to store unlawful content, to violate third-party platform terms at scale, or to attack the service itself (rate limits exist and are enforced). Saved content remains subject to its original authors' rights; Nucel stores it for your personal reference only.

AI-generated content

Summaries, tags, and chat answers are generated by AI models and can be wrong. The chat assistant answers only from your saved content, but always verify anything important against the original source.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices include applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, and you check out inside the app. You can cancel at any time from Settings; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan and nothing you saved is lost.

If you are unhappy with your first charge, you can ask for a refund within 7 days of it. The full rules are in our refund and cancellation policy.

Free trial

Every new account starts with 14 days of Pro, with no card required, and then continues on the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan.

Plan limits

Each plan has monthly allowances for AI features. If you reach a limit, nothing you saved is lost: new saves are still stored and searchable, and their AI processing runs when your allowance resets or when you upgrade.

Price changes

We may change plan prices. We will give you notice before a change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Warranty & liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty. You can export your full data at any time and are encouraged to keep backups of anything critical.
